Biography

Brian Mercer is an expert in the mystical.  He is the author of Mastering Astral Projection: 90-day Guide to an Out-of-body Experience (Llewellyn Worldwide, 2004) and the Mastering Astral Projection CD Companion (Llewellyn Worldwide, 2007).  Mentioned prominently in Publisher’s Weekly and featured on such international radio shows as Unknown Shore with Whitley Strieber and Coast to Coast with George Noory, Mastering Astral Projection was a cover article for New Worlds magazine and second runner up in the 2005 international Coalition for Visionary Resources awards.

Mercer’s fiction about the paranormal has an authentic edge.  Having a short story published by age eighteen, and having won a local playwriting contest, he continues to pursue his love of fiction.  His science fiction action adventure trilogy, The Kaladrious Reflection, is a story about old souls reborn in the distant future to reclaim a lost destiny.

Mercer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a concentration in Management Information Systems.  A business analyst and computer programmer for a network of hospitals and health care clinics, he lives in Seattle with his wife, Sara.
